Department: Manhattan Mini Storage
Location Manhattan - One of our 17 Manhattan Mini Storage Locations
The Maintenance employee performs custodial work within the mini-storage facility.
The “General Responsibilities” of the position revolves around the “Day to Day” process of maintaining a clean and safe storage facility. Additionally, employee will be responsible for providing high levels of customer service in the execution of his or her job duties
Handling immediate maintenance and the janitorial needs of the assigned facility customers.
Daily Routine and Non-routine maintenance control for specific areas of the building. i.e., floors, walls, restrooms, office space as well as facility exterior (horizontal and vertical surfaces)
May require daily travel to and from other facilities as well as financial institutions for company business
Takes Direction From:
Exec. VP MMS
Able to lift 50lbs
Able to work for extended period of time alone
Able to pass the NYC Fire Department certificate of fitness
Able to climb up to 10ft. using a standard latter
Able to shovel snow, mop a floor, operate power tools (i.e. drill, snow blower etc.)
